ViSorb™is a NOCSAE approved extremely effective high-density vibration/shock/impact absorbing material utilizing our M.A.D. Micro Air Damping foam technology. M.A.D. allows our material components to be lighter than similar thermoplastic elastomers and have much more cushion/flex in feel and performance. ViSorb™ is chlorine and latex-free and hydrophobic (closed cell structure doesn’t absorb water). FDA approved version is available for mouth guard products. It is light-weight (Specific Gravity 0.8 compared to 1.0-1.2 for liquid silicone, rubber, polyurethane forms), semi-foamed TPE high density (high rebound) injection molded material. It has good tear strength, low compression set (doesn’t compress up-it returns to shape) and abrasion (it is wear resistant) properties.

ViSorb™is injection molded which means it can be formed into the most ergonomic and weight-saving shapes to fully achieve your engineering design needs. The basic vibration damping materials are usually in sheet form or are open pour or compression molders under low pressure achieving only simple/basic shapes. We do injection molding of the ViSorb™ components for you. It can also be insert molded : place another component (metal or other plastic) into the mold and then over-mold with ViSorb™ to form finished part/device. We also have sheet stock available in 3mm (24 x 24 cm) thickness. We can provide die cut parts from sheet stock ( printing available). ViSorb™ material hardness adjustable per your product needs. Can be laminated with QSorb™ and HFlex™ chlorine-free vinyl sheets as needed. Contact us for components (we can ship to you or your vendor) and complete products per your needs.
