I remember when my son Kevin was a young boy he like many other kids went through a hardcore dinosaur love phase. I would often get him little dinosaur-themed gifts when I had to go away on business trips. One of the new discoveries of dinosaur genus was the raptor introduced by one of the Jurassic Park movies. Those creatures were ferocious and wily. Not so sure I can say the same bout the basketball team of the same name but we’ll have to see with Hedo over there now.
Another Dinosaur I’ve had a love affair with is the J. Mascis variety-Dinosaur Jr. Jay is one of my favorite indie noisy guitar minstrels. Very much in the keep it simple with ample doses of rich feedback ala Neil Young variety. Check out Little Fury Things.
